Ready to lose that baby weight?!

I am currently working on getting my pre-pregnancy body back and I want to help others do the same! I am holding a bootcamp style class that will include exercises interacting with your little one. We will start off the class with the babies in their strollers and (depending if they are awake) we will take them out part way through. If your baby is not old enough for sunscreen he/she can stay covered in their stroller - it is completely your preference to include your child in the exercises. You should bring a blanket/yoga mat and a bottle of water. 

These are free one time classes, in Halifax & Dartmouth, to see if there is any interest in starting a regular class. I will have info on possible dates/times and prices the day of the event.

You must be past 6 weeks post-partum and have your doctors ok to exercise in order to participate. Both moms & dads are welcome to attend.

July special for the men!

For some reason the Julie Mac Fitness classes have always been predominately attended by women. There are a few theories as to why; most of the girls are pretty sure that the men aren't tough enough but I think it has more to do with the fact that it's a class. Most fitness classes seem to be attended by women. So, to encourage men to give kettlebells a try, and see if they can hang with the girls, I'm offering the following:

During July 16th-30th men can attend any 3 of the Halifax classes for free. It's your chance to try something new and to prove to the girls that you're tough enough to make it through a couple classes. 

*You are eligible to take advantage of this special even if you've been to a Julie Mac Fitness class in the past.

The Great Outdoors!!


Summer is here and we've been waiting patiently to bring the workouts back outdoors. We still don't have a way to transport the bells since our Nissan bit the dust so....we will now be having bootcamp Fridays!

Every Friday class will be held on the commons (map) and it will be killer! This will give you chance to do something a little different (and give your calluses a rest).

Outdoor classes start today so let's hope for a sunny day because they're held rain or shine!
